Two people have been arrested for allegedly conspiring to commit a murder in Wimberley, Texas.

  • Both suspects armed, police said

According to the Hays County Sheriff’s Office, the victim was lured into a home on Mount Sharp Road in Wimberley.

Officials say 20-year-old Nevaada Morgan, of Santa Fe, Texas, and 19-year-old Steven Ertel, of Wimberley, were at the home, each armed with a knife.

The victim told authorities that Morgan and Ertel engaged in behavior that led the victim to believe his life was in immediate danger.

The sheriff’s office says a subsequent investigation uncovered evidence which lead them to believe Morgan and Ertel conspired to murder the victim.

Morgan and Ertel are in custody at the Hays County Jail awaiting magistration.
