SAN ANTONIO – The Witte Museum has produced limited edition dinosaur Christmas ornaments for the past three years.

  • Ornaments represent native dinosaurs
  • Museum only displays historical Texas findings
  • Once ornaments sell out, no longer available

Each year, the ornament is dedicated to a native dinosaur.

“Witte Museum is where nature, science and culture meet and we do that through the Texas lens of deep time,” Director of Communications and Marketing Katy Brought said.

Everything displayed inside the museum had history in the area of Texas.

The ornaments also reflect dinosaur fossil replicas inside the museum and benefit museum research.

“This year is our Agujaceratops, which you can see in our Naylor Family Dinosaur Gallery,” Brought said.

The shop is separate from the museum and can be accessed without an entry purchase. Once the ornaments sell out, the sale ends.
