AUSTIN, Texas — The Contemporary Austin is looking for local artists to participate in its 2019 Crit Group program.
- Open to artists working in Travis County
- Deadline to apply is December 2
- The program culminates in a group exhibition
The program aims to build a community and network of critical support for working artists dedicated to growing their artistic practices. Monthly sessions focus on group art critique to provide peer feedback.
Some of the topics to be addressed include writing an effective artist’s statement, applying for grants, and public speaking.
Crit Group is open to artists working in all disciplines living and working in Travis County.
The deadline to apply is December 2.
