SAN ANTONIO -- The Alliance of American Football unveiled the uniforms for its inaugural season on Wednesday, including a look for the San Antonio Commanders.

  • Eight-team leagues debuts February 9, 2019
  • San Antonio Commanders vs. San Diego Fleet at Alamodome
  • Uniforms tribute to city of San Antonio and state of Texas

The eight-team league will kick off its inaugural season on February 9, 2019, with a pair of games, including San Antonio hosting the San Diego Fleet at the Alamodome.

 

 

 

According to the San Antonio Business Journal, Alliance officials said the Commanders' colors represent the maroon used in the city of San Antonio's logo, while the silver reflects the dress military swords carried by officers, and the red is a nod to the Texas flag.
