AUSTIN, Texas – Veterans can catch a Lyft ride with a $1 discount to the Austin Veterans Day Parade on Sunday, November 11.

Lyft is offering the discount through a partnership with United Way of Austin and 211.

Since June, through the partnership Lyft has been providing free rides to Austin veterans to get them to the organizations that can help serve them as a thank you for their service.

Veterans can claim the discount here or by using the code ATXVETERAN18 in the Lyft app.

The theme of this year’s Austin Veterans Day Parade is to honor the 100^th anniversary of the end of World War I. The parade featuring 119 floats will kick off at 100 Congress Ave. at 10 a.m.
