GEORGETOWN, Texas -- The Down Syndrome Buddy Walk took place in Georgetown Sunday.
It's the Down Syndrome Association of Central Texas' most important fundraiser, bringing in more than $200,000 a year.
More than 3,000 people pledged to support education and recreation programs for people living with down syndrome and their families.
The 1 mile walk is the centerpiece of the event with an array of activities for families to enjoy.
