SAN MARCOS, Texas — A fuel spill in San Marcos has shut down the northbound access road near RM12-Wonder World Drive.

San Marcos city officials said the spill is in the 2200 block of I-35 headed south, and has caused the north to south turnaround and all access road lanes to be shut down.

The city also said the closure could take some time to clean up and officials with the TxDOT urged drivers to find another route.

“Consider options until cleared,” transportation officials said in a tweet.
