AUSTIN, Texas -- Here's yet another reason to celebrate this Earth Day:  as more and more people rely on the sun to power their lives, the overall cost continues to drop.

The price per Watt of solar energy has dropped in half since 2010, according to Climate Matters. More than 300,000 Americans are now employed in the booming solar industry.
