Democratic gubernatorial candidate Lupe Valdez said she’ll maintain her campaign strategy through the primary run-off against Houston businessman Andrew White. The two will face off on May 22 to decide who will be the party’s nominee to take on Gov. Greg Abbott in the fall.

Valdez’s campaign has maintained a relatively low profile. But during a campaign stop in San Antonio Wednesday night, she told Capital Tonight’s Max Gorden she’s out talking to voters and will continue to grow a grassroots campaign.
