Latest on suspicious package at FedEx facility near ABIA, local time:

12:10 p.m.: First press conference is held regarding the call for a suspicious package at an Austin FedEx location near the airport. 

The officer said very little, other than that a package was located and that the scene is still very active. Watch the update below:

AUSTIN, Texas — Austin police confirm they're investigating a suspicious package call at a Austin FedEx facility near the Austin airport.

According to Spectrum News traffic reporter LeAnn Wallace, McKinney Falls Parkway is closed between Aspen Glenn Boulevard and Burleson Road.

Initially reported as a hazmat situation, the incident, reported by Austin Fire Department, is at 4107 McKinney Falls Parkway.
