AUSTIN, Texas -- The state of Wisconsin made cheese history at SXSW by creating the world's longest cheese board featuring more than 2,000 pounds and 100 different varieties of cheese from brands across the state.

The record-breaking, 70-foot-long cheese board was showcased in the JW Marriott hotel and was built inside of a wooden barn that was created with digital fabrication tool technology.

Cheese lovers were able to choose from a variety of cheeses including caved-aged cheddars, fresh cheese curds and national award-winning cheeses.

While making their way along the massive array of cheeses people were dazzled by large cheese wheels, flowers, mixed nuts, meats, and of course crackers to go along with the all of the dairy delicacies.

In addition to all of the cheese sampling, the lounge included a Bloody Mary bar and afternoon happy hours with expert-inspired wine and cheese pairings.
