UPDATE (March 14): Guadalupe Sanchez was arrested on Wednesday in Balcones Heights and is being charged with cruelty to animals and making terroristic threats to his family. 

SAN ANTONIO — Police are searching for a man accused of killing a puppy and then threatening his family.

Authorities said Guadalupe Sanchez, 25, recorded video of him choking and stabbing a puppy. He was reportedly upset that another man looking at a family member.

After killing the dog, police say Sanchez threatened to do the same to members of his family. He's charged with making terroristic threats.

Animal Care Services is also investigation the case.
