DEL VALLE, Texas — Del Valle High School students were locked down after a "shelter-in-place" was issued Thursday morning.

According to Del Valle Independent School District spokesman A.J. Arreguin, students and teachers are safe, and instruction was not interrupted.

The lockdown was lifted at 11:25 a.m.

Del Valle ISD and Travis County Sheriff’s Office said they received a report about a student who planned to bring a weapon to the school but no weapon was found.
