VALLEY CENTER, California — Three family members who died in a Nov. 2017 crash on Highway 183 have been buried in California.


In a tweet sent out by Austin Police, Cpl. Lori De La Fuente attended the funeral. She developed a friendship with the surviving daughter Kiera and gifted her a charm bracelet. She was the sole survivor of the crash.

The family was hit head-on by a drunk driver. Nancy Latulippe, 41, her son Jackson Latulippe, 14, were pronounced dead at the scene on Nov. 11 and Scott Latulippe, 41 died Nov. 17.

Guy Brasted, 41, had a .203 blood alcohol concentration when he allegedly crashed into the family vehicle. He is facing two counts of intoxication manslaughter and one count of intoxication assault.
