WASHINGTON — The White House will send Congress disaster aid request on Friday for approximately $45 billion.

The plan will not meet the demands from Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico after a devastating hurricane season.

This is President Trump's third request for disaster aid this year and will bring the total amount set aside for hurricane relief is close to $100 billion.

The measure will not contain much for Puerto Rico. Gov. Ricardo Rossello requested $94 billion.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott submitted a $61 billion request to the President last month for Harvey-related damages.

The Florida congressional delegation asked for $27 billion.
