AUSTIN, Texas -- Austin police are looking for a suspect in a South Austin bank robbery.
Around 3 p.m. Monday police say a man entered the Chase Bank on Slaughter Lane. He demanded money using a note and escaped.
Police say he was last seen heading north on Cullen Street. He's described as a black man, around 5 feet 7 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a gray shirt, black pants and sunglasses. Police say he was also carrying a black backpack.
No one was injured. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Austin Police Department at 512-974-5092.
