Elizabeth has been with Spectrum News since 2013. Her work led her to win the 2016 Barbara Jordan Media Award in the broadcast feature category from the Texas Governor's Committee on People with Disabilities.

While she started her family in Texas, she was born and raised in upstate New York.

Before moving to Austin, she was working as a reporter in her hometown of Syracuse for Spectrum News Central / Northern New York. She worked there after getting her foot in the door as a bureau reporter in Watertown, New York.

Elizabeth graduated with honors from New York University with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism. It was while she was living in New York City that she was first introduced to Spectrum News as she interned at NY1. She also worked at ABC News.

When she's not anchoring or reporting, Elizabeth is either out exploring Austin with her fiancé and daughter or hitting the gym.

She is interested in stories that matter to you and invites you to e-mail her at with story ideas.
