AUSTIN, Texas - Thirty cats and kittens are now at Austin Pets Alive.

They arrived Friday from Williamson County and were seized this week from a Cedar Park home for hoarding.

Austin Pets Alive is already at capacity. They had to open up their large conference room just to house the cats for the time being.

"For this particular case, we're looking for fosters, we're looking for adopters and we're looking for donations because we will have upwards at least $5,000 in immediate medical needs for these care," said Mary Heerwald with Austin Pets Alive!

The shelter also took in four cats and two dogs Friday from a Bastrop County animal cruelty case. All adoption fees will be waived for each of the transferred animals.
