AUSTIN -- The University of Texas is hosting a conference on campus sexual assaults this weekend.

Experts in legal, social and academic professions will discuss campus rape culture and sexual consent.

Recent legislation and attention to sexual assaults on campus have put pressure on university administrators to monitor student activity carefully.

Many universities are still tackling how to properly respond after a rape or assault happens.

A UT professor and his classes organized the conference, which is officially called "Theorizing Consent: Educational and Legal Perspectives on Campus Rape."
