Fashion helped battle cancer this weekend as Austin teens showed off the latest trends.

A fashion show was held at Charles Maund Toyota in North Austin to benefit the Hungry Bunch, a support group for teens battling cancer and blood disorders.

Eighteen girls and three boys modeled for the show.

The teens say it was very exciting to get dressed up and have their hair and makeup done.

"I really enjoy getting done up because my hair's growing back from the chemo and treatments and stuff and sometimes I don't feel really pretty because it's really curly and it's a different color," said model Koreena Fedirck. "So, when I get to go, you know I have an awesome mohawk. It's really awesome to get to go and feel good about yourself again."

This is the first fashion show for the group. They hope to make it an annual event.
