This week, as we celebrate Women's History Month, Tim is joined by Dr. Mary Susan Fulghum, a retired doctor who is the niece of one of North Carolina's first female doctors, Dr. Annie Louise Wilkerson.

Wilkerson was told not to become a doctor yet she ended up as chief of staff at North Carolina's first integrated hospital. Before passing away, she even donated her entire 150-plus acre land for a nature preserve.

Hear as Fulghum recounts her aunt's powerful story, the impact she had, and what it was like to work alongside her.
