RALEIGH, N.C. -- A recently formed Raleigh company will be at this year's Super Bowl helping with security.

Watson, the two-year-old Labrador Retriever is one of several dogs and handlers that will come from the Stealth Vigilance program. This is a private company that takes dogs through extensive training to identify possible explosives through odors in the air.

The dogs have already helped at several concerts and big races in Raleigh, and their handler is excited to now provide assistance at the biggest football game of the year.

"We do know where we will be posted, I just can't share those details. But we do have specific assignments in the Atlanta area, because there's so many events going on pregame throughout the entire week," said chief operating officer Geoff Beckwith.

Stealth Vigilance recently celebrated three years in Raleigh. They started the program because they wanted these dogs to have more specialized training than dogs who go through a police academy.

They leave for the Super Bowl on Thursday.
