POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- State police arrested a man they say pulled a knife during an impromptu job interview at Smiles Nightclub on Route 376 in the Town of Wappinger early Sunday morning.
Troopers say 54-year-old Andre McHugh, of Poughkeepsie, walked into the nightclub asking about an open position.
When he was told he would be put on a wait list, police say he pulled out a knife and threatened staff.
McHugh was arraigned on weapon possession, menacing and DWI charges. He was taken to Dutchess County Jail on $30,000 bail.
