TAMPA, Fla. — Mayor Jane Castor and the Tampa City Council were sworn into office on Monday morning.
Castor won her second term in office in March.
The city’s runoff election last week decided four seats on the council.
Making up city council will be returning city council members Charlie Miranda, District 2, Guido Maniscalco, District 6, and Lynn Hurtak, District 3.
Bill Carlson, District 4, also won reelection in March.
Luis Viera, District 7, did not face a challenger, automatically winning.
Two new members, Alan Clendenin, District 1, and Gwendolyn Henderson, District 5, will also be joining the council.
