TAMPA, Fla. — Two people were killed early Saturday in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 275 near the Westshore Boulevard exit.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 3:15 a.m. when a 28-year-old man drove north onto the southbound lanes.
The wrong-way sedan collided head-on with another sedan. Both drivers died at the scene. No identities have been released as of yet.
A third vehicle collided with the second car but that driver was not injured.
The Westshore exit remained closed to traffic until just before 9 a.m.
Troopers are still investigating the crash but said said driver impairment is suspected.
