TAMPA, Fla. — A man accused of running down a family with his vehicle in June has been found incompetent to stand trial.

The ruling was made Monday.

Mikese Morse, 30, is accused of deliberately hitting and killing Pedro Aguerreberry, 42, as he rode bikes with his two children June 24 in New Tampa.

Aguerreberry died of his injuries. 

During a hearing in September, Morse was found to be incompetent to stand trial on the murder charge. But state officials wanted a second opinion because of reports that Morse did not cooperate with state appointed psychologist.

Morse's family has said he is not receiving medical attention while in jail.
