WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Legoland Florida plans to celebrate summer with stage shows, a surprise birthday squad, special weekend events, specialty treats and more.

​The Winter Haven theme park’s “Awe-Summer” celebration will kick off June 26 and run through August 8.

The lineup will include a new educational show with the Florida Prepaid Schoolhouse teachers about science, reading and writing. And for the dinosaur fans, Legoland will debut the new Safari Drummers show.

With Legoland Florida also marking its 10th birthday this year, the lineup will also include a Birthday Surprise Squad that will pop up around the park with performances, surprises and even some birthday giveways.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy Brickbeard’s Watersports Stunt Show (which debuted earlier this year) as well as the return of Red, White and BOOM! fireworks on July 3 and 4.

In addition to live entertainment, summer at Legoland will include specialty treats like the Splash of Summer Watermelon Lemonade, the Summer’s Own Watermelon Salad with feta and mint, and a red, white and blue ice cream cone.

“Awe-Summer” activities are included with theme park admission, according to Legoland.
