DALLAS — Two of the most prominent figures in conservative politics and media are coming to Texas. Former President Donald J. Trump and former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly will embark on a limited-engagement discussion series dubbed, “The History Tour.”
O’Reilly, who was dismissed from Fox News amid allegations of sexual harassment, will lead the live discussions on the various topics that President Trump dealt with over his four-year term, including the pandemic, the development of the vaccine, the economy, issues with China and more.
Since parting ways with Fox, O’Reilly has written several popular books about historical events.
According to a press release, the former president will share never-before-heard insight from his days in office.
“These will be wonderful but hard-hitting sessions where we’ll talk about the real problems happening in the U.S., those that the Fake News Media never mention,” Trump said in the press release. “I will be focusing on greatness for our country, something seldom discussed in political dialogue. If we don’t make our Country great again, we will soon no longer have a country. I look forward to working with Bill, who right now has the No. 1 bestselling book, to openly discuss the real problems of our country, and how to solve them. Additionally, it will be fun, fun, fun, for everyone who attends.”
The duo’s tour opens on Dec. 11 in Sunrise, Fla., at the BB&T Center, and continues on Dec. 18 at the Toyota Center in Houston. They then travel to the American Airlines Center in Dallas for an appearance on Dec. 19. A December 12 date is scheduled as TBA.
“My job as a historian/journalist is to get important things on the record in a fact-based way,” O’Reilly said in the press release. “These conversations with the 45th President will not be boring.”
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on June 14.
