LORAIN COUNTY, Ohio — Saturday was National Drug Take-Back Day, and in Lorain County, departments held drop-off events for residents for their unused or expired medication.
There were 18 locations involved in the take back day, and the Lorain County Sheriff's Office said 3,228 pounds of medications were collected.
"We appreciate everyone who came out to help keep our community safer," the office said in a Facebook post.
