There's always plenty to do in Ohio over the weekend, but Spectrum News 1 gathered some of the highlights around each major metropolitan area across the state.

Cleveland

- Info: This event features food, prizes, face painting in more all while raising money for the Northeast Ohio SPCA
Columbus
- When and where: 1 to 5 p.m. April 26 at Genoa Park, located at 303 W Broad St. in Columbus
- Cost: General admission is $44.99
- Info: Celebrate various flavors of mimosas, enjoy a live DJ and even have a bite to eat at this event
OhioHealth Capital City Half & Quarter Marathon
- When and where: 8 a.m. April 26 in Downtown Columbus, starting adjacent to the John F. Wolfe Columbus Commons
- Cost: Registration costs vary, see website for details
- Info: Join more than 10,000 other runners for the a 5k, half or quarter marathon, whatever works for you. Participants will receive food and drinks.
Cincinnati
Bark & Buy On the Loop: Unleashing Fun for Everyone!
- When and where: 12-2 p.m. April 26 at the Downtown Sharonville Loop, located at 3327 Creek Road
- Info: Whether it's an agility course, a hot dog toss, a pet costume contest and more, there's plenty of fun for dogs and owners at this event. Make sure to keep your dog leashed at all times
Greater Cincinnati Earth Day Festival
- When and where: 12 to 5 p.m. on April 26, at Summit Park, Blue Ash
- Cost: Free
- Info: Play trivia, hear performances, enjoy some food and learn more about the natural world at this Earth Day celebration
Dayton
5K Walk/Run 4 Autism Awareness from the Autism Society Dayton
- When and where: 10 a.m. April 26 at Eastwood MetroPark, located at 1385 Harshman Road in Dayton
- Cost: $35 for adults and $25 for anyone 17 and younger
- Info: The funds raised for this walk/run will go toward the organization's family grant program
Third annual Eastern European Heritage Experience
- When and where: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 26 at the Czech-Slovak Club, located at 922 Valley St. in Dayton
- Info: Celebrate Eastern Eurpoean cultures at this event featuring food, music, art and more
Toledo
Spring Wildflower Walk at Forrest Woods
- When and where: 11 a.m. April 26 at the Forrest Woods Nature Preserve near Cecil
- Cost: Free
- Info: This all-ages guided hike allows participants to see the various spring ephemerals throughtout the forest. They recommend waterproof, knee-high boots. Registration is required
Mercy Health Glass City Marathon
