CLEVELAND — March Madness returns to Cleveland this weekend, bringing in basketball fans, business and traffic.
The city has announced parking restrictions for downtown as Rocket Arena prepares to host the First and Second Rounds of the NCAA tournament on Friday, March 21 and Sunday, March 23.
Crowds are expected to converge downtown for the games.
Parking restrictions that will be effect at 9 a.m. through 5 p.m. include:
- East 9th Street – from Euclid Avenue to Bolivar Road
- East 4th Street – from Huron Road to Prospect Avenue
- East 2nd Street – from High Street to Prospect Avenue
- Bolivar Road – from East 9th Street to Prospect Avenue
- Bolivar Road – from East 9th Street to East 7th Street
- Huron Road – from East 9th Street to Ontario Street
- Sumner Avenue – from East 14th Street to East 9th Street
- Erie Court – from East 14th Street to East 9th Street
- Prospect Avenue – from East 9th Street to East 14th Street
