We’ve got a summer pattern in place with rinse, wash and repeat weather.

Any afternoon storms should diminish this evening as overnight lows fall into the 70s tonight.

It will be hot and humid Thursday. Highs climb into the 90s.

A cold front should pass through Thursday afternoon and evening, triggering some scattered showers and storms. There is a level 1/5 threat statewide for damaging winds within storms, but widespread severe weather isn’t expected.

After the front passes, there will be slightly less moisture, but daily afternoon showers and storms should develop. Highs will stay around the 90s, and even mid-90s early next week with heat index values in the triple digits.
