WISCONSIN — The National Weather Service (NWS) has confirmed at least 15 tornadoes touched down in Wisconsin during Thursday's storms on May 15.

NWS La Crosse confirmed four tornadoes touched down in Clark County. No injuries or fatalities have been reported in connection to those three storms.

An EF-1 tornado with peak winds at 95 mph touched down in Christie, Wis. at 4:47 p.m. Thursday. The tornado "snapped a few large trees," per NWS.

Another tornado, rated an EF-0 touched down in Loyal, Wis. at 4:55 p.m., with winds peaking at 85 mph. In addition to damaging multiple trees, this storm tore off part of a roof of a farm building. 

A third confirmed tornado in the county touched down in Colby, Wis., at 5:21 p.m. That tornado was rated an EF-2, with winds peaking at 120 mph. The EF-2 tornado damaged multiple farm structures, trees, power poles, two homes, outbuildings and a car dealership. NWS confirmed one of the homes that was damaged lost the majority of its roof due to the tornado. 

The fourth confirmed tornado also touched down near Loyal, Wis., but had a rating of EF-1. NWS said it touched down at 5:08 p.m. and damaged a residence, in addition to trees and powerlines. 

NWS Milwaukee confirmed six tornadoes in Dodge County, including four EF-1 tornadoes — in Theresa, Lomira, Lowell and Juneau — and two EF-2 tornadoes — in Mayville and Juneau.

Other counties with tornadoes included Portage County (EF-0), Sauk County (EF-0), Columbia County (EF-U, which means EF-Unknown due to lack of damage), Marathon County (EF-0) and St. Croix County (EF-2).
