OSHKOSH, Wis. — The Department of Defense awarded Oshkosh Defense LLC a four-year $33,954,308 contract to manufacture wheel and tire assemblies for the U.S. Army.

The Oshkosh, Wisconsin-based defense manufacturer employs about 3,500 people. 

The company most recently received a $95 million contract last month to produce heavy tactical vehicles for the U.S. Army, as well as a contract from the Netherlands Ministry of Defense to build 150 light tactical vehicles for the Dutch military.

Oshkosh Defense’s parent company, Oshkosh Corporation, is also headquartered in Oshkosh. The Oshkosh Corporation also manufactures fire and emergency vehicles in Appleton, Wisconsin.
