LOS ANGELES — La Serna head football coach Andy George lost two loved ones in the tragic 2020 helicopter crash that killed Lakers legend Kobe Bryant.

Payton Chester, his sister, was a member of the Mamba Academy girls’ basketball team. 

George said he’s found healing through his players. On Friday night, they face Orange Vista in a CIF Regional Bowl Game.
