Representing Wisconsin's 25th District, State Senator Romaine Quinn first ventured into politics at 18 years old, when he ran for city council in Rice Lake as a high school student. He went on to become Rice Lake mayor at 19, and he has been serving his community ever since.

His favorite part of his job is helping solve the issues that matter to his constituents. One thing he wishes people knew about his job is that politicians are not on a pedestal--they're part of the community just like everyone else.

Given an extra hour of free time, Quinn would spend it with his two young boys. If he could visit anywhere in the world, he would choose Ireland.
