The mayor of Maple Heights, Annette Blackwell, ran for elected office to make a difference in her community. 

Blackwell hopes to keep revenue high in her city in the next five years, as she wants to ensure Maple Heights can drive its own revitalization story. 

Blackwell describes Maple Heights as "progressive, gritty, and great." Her first job was as a safe deposit clerk.
