Elizabeth Brown's favorite part of being President Pro Tempore of the Columbus City Council is problem solving. She enjoys listening to constituent concerns and working with relevant stakeholders to pass legislation that improves people's lives.

In her Know Your Electeds interview, Brown shared that one of her biggest accomplishments in office was passing a paid family leave policy for City of Columbus employees. This paid leave is accessible to employees of any gender that need to take time off to care for a partner, family member, or child.

Brown's first job was serving ice cream at Knucklehead's in Granville, OH. In three words, she describes her district as "resilient," down-to-earth," and "growing."
