One thing State Rep. Adam Hattersley wishes people knew about District 59 is how inclusive, welcoming and supportive its residents can be to newcomers. 

Hattersley believes he has accomplished a lot for District 59, but as a Navy veteran himself, he is perhaps most proud of his bipartisan bill to improve mental healthcare for veterans.

Hattersley is also working in upcoming sessions to advocate for a sexual assault survivor bill of rights, protections for Florida’s endangered species, and support for disabled first responders.

One thing Hattersley’s constituents might not know about him? He was a gymnast for 20 years, and was even a member of the 1999 NCAA National Championship team at the University of Michigan. To this day, he’s considered one of the top judges for men’s gymnastics in the country.​
