ST. LOUIS—From shelter information to debris clean up and more, here is helpful information for storm victims from Friday’s EF-3 tornado in St. Louis city. There is a Tornado Recovery site for resources to help victims.

Utility Resources, Damage and Debris

Report utility and power problems: Learn how to contact Ameren and Spire for help with your utilities.

Report city-related damage: If there are problems with traffic signals, tree limbs, street repairs, building collapse etc, you can submit online reports here or call 314-622-4800.

Debris and cleanup: Teams are working to clear debris. There will not be dumpsters dropped off to prevent street congestion. The city is asking: 

  • Place debris in large piles on the curb or public right of way, but not in the street

  • When possible, separate piles into bricks, house debris, and green waste

  • Small piles of yard waste can go in yard waste dumpsters
