MASON, Ohio — Looking around Kings Island on Saturday, you might have seen many kids touring around the park donned in capes and crowns or carrying a wand.

That's because the park was host to the Southwest Ohio Chapter of A Kid Again’s annual Capes and Crowns fundraising event Saturday, according to a park spokesperson.

The nonprofit raised more than $30,000 in their efforts to help kids with life-threatening conditions as well as their families, according to the spokesperson.

Those who attended dressed in the outfit of their favorite superhero or princess, whichever they preferred.
