Evening storms will begin to fade away by 10 p.m. across Central Florida, giving way to a partly cloudy sky overnight. Mild and muggy, as lows return to the low and mid 70s across the state. Heat index values may fail to fall below 80 in spots, so it’s certainly a windows closed, air conditioning on sort of night.

Friday will once again feature a developing east coast seabreeze pushing its way westward. But our Atlantic ridge of high pressure will finally begin to nudge its way closer to Florida. This will help to bring in a hint of dry air aloft, limiting rain chances to a 40% chance, compared to the previous several days where we’ve been between 50-70%. Highs return to the 90s with a heat index near 100° for many spots.

Highs: Low 90s
