Independence Day fireworks displays

There are many Independence Day 2025 fireworks displays taking place around Western New York this weekend. 

4th of July Carnival at The Great Pumpkin Farm

The Great Pumpkin Farm's 4th of July Carnival features rides, family-friendly games, food, face painting, balloon art, bar, live music from Queen City Revival (July 4, 4-8 p.m.) and Pocket Change Band (July 5, 4-8 p.m.). There will be fireworks at dusk on July 5.

Ellicottville Summer Music Festival

This weekend-long summer fest begins Friday with a Battle of The Bands with the winner opening for Saturday headliner Hailey Whitters. The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra will then perform music from the Harry Potter films with fireworks to follow.

Siege! 1759 at Old Fort Niagara

Step back in time to 1759 and witness the dramatic Siege of Fort Niagara—a pivotal moment in Western New York’s history and the French & Indian War. On July 4-6, Old Fort Niagara will commemorate the historic siege with a large-scale, three-day reenactment involving hundreds of participants from throughout North America.

  • Admission is $22 for adults and $14 for children

Historic Baseball at Genesee County Village & Museum

Wtiness the Museum’s vintage baseball teams unpack their vintage woolen uniforms, brown balls and double-knobbed bats to play in Silver Base Ball Park. Women's teams will take the field Friday and the men's teams will play a double header Sunday. 

GCV&M's annual Independence Day Celebration, featuring hot dogs and hamburgers from the Depot Restaurant, patriotic music, recitation of the Declaration of Independence, 19th-century style Grand Parade, pie-eating contest, play hands-on games and activities and more, will also take place on July 4.
