Generative Artificial Intelligence, or Generative AI, has rapidly advanced over the past few years.

It’s been adapted for use as a helpful tool in industries, including healthcare, finance and retail, all sharing the goal of automating tedious tasks.

Some major law firms have adopted legal AI models to help streamline the research process for attorneys.

However, AI in the courtroom has not been widely embraced as some express ethical concerns with the technology.

David Keyko, attorney and New York City Bar Association’s Ethics Committee chairman, joined “The Rush Hour” on Monday to discuss the committee’s formal opinion on AI in the legal space.
