SAN ANTONIO -- Before heading out to this year's River Parade, the Texas Cavaliers presented more than $560,000 to the San Antonio Children's Hospital and helped to bring Fiesta to some kids and families who otherwise might have missed it this year.

"We're just helping advance that ball so they can perform the mission they have, and that is taking care of the children and making sure they get the best health care possible. And the families, too, and we're here today to kind OF make their lives a little brighter, help share Fiesta with them, and take their mind off the troubles that they're facing when they're child is in the hospital,” said Richard Sparr, King Antonio XCVI.

The Texas Cavaliers have been around for more than 90 years. In that time they've raised $6 million for San Antonio children.
