ROCHESTER, N.Y. —  Roberts Wesleyan College is a step closer to its goal of connecting the community.

The college broke ground Tuesday on its future Golisano Community Engagement Center.

The $15 million building will serve as a hub for connection, collaboration and student life resources on campus.

It will feature a common area for students and training spaces for local companies.

"Those come together into one building where our students and community can interface either through internships, career services, and make a connection that way to the future of Rochester."

The building is expected to open in summer of 2022.
