CINCINNATI — Metro is hosting several open houses throughout May to give the community a chance to learn about updates on the MetroRapid Bus Rapid Transit project.

Visitors can learn about proposed station locations and their names for the first BRT corridors. Through these, officials plan to build on community engagement and feedback before moving into the next phase. Metro said in a news release the next phase will confirm what’s been heard and refine the plan with community members.

“We’re excited to share the progress on MetroRapid and give our community a closer look at how this project will improve mobility, access, safety and connectivity across the region,” said Brandy Jones, Metro’s chief communications and marketing officer. “Hearing from the community remains essential as we progress on design details and ensure the project reflects the needs of those it will serve.”

The open houses will have maps of proposed station locations, their names and renderingsn and the opportunity to speak with project staff and give feedback.
