  • Right side of home in flames
  • One man treated

San Antonio firefighters responded to the scene at 2351 Rigsby Ave. just after 3 p.m. Saturday. When firefighters arrived they found the right side of the home near the front in flames.

Firefighters say a couple was inside at the time, but a woman was able to make it out. Fire crews later discovered a man in another part of the home.

"They went and the fire conditions were too severe in the front so they kinda backed out and additional crews went to the back side of the structure and that’s when they found the man," said Capt. Matthew Lodge.

The man was taken to a nearby hospital. He is expected to be okay.
