SAN ANTONIO – The Lakers visited San Antonio on Saturday night to face-off against the Spurs and LeBron James entered the arena with a big statement.

Although James will not be a part of voting in this Texas election, he made the choice to show support for Democratic candidate, Beto O’Rourke. O’Rourke fighting to unseat Texas Sen. Ted Cruz has been one of the most-watched races.

James previously commented on O’Rourke’s viral video discussing NFL players protest, calling the video “a must watch”.

The NBA player has recently become very vocal on politics after President Trump made various statements against athletes involving themselves in politics.

In August, LeBron told CNN that the president was using sports to divide people.
