The Stevens Falcons will kick off high school football, taking on Boerne Champion in one of the first games of the year.

Playing at home on Thursday, the Falcons will likely have their work cut out for them after last year's 3-7 season. They have just three defensive starters returning, however eight offensive starters will be back, including receivers D'Juan Elliott and Michael Davenport and running back Clarence Lee.

It's Conrad Hernandez's second season as head coach, although he's been with the program since it started 14 years ago.
